"WE" = Redskins....not Texans. ;)
Must be a tough move for him. Seems to love Texas. I didn't realize he was so young. Or looked so young.

I'd hate to leave Schaub and Johnson too. Puts a lot of stock in his QB which is warranted. I wish training camp was here already lol

He just turned 30. He was still playing college football at UT in 2002.

I didn't hear much...checking out Candy on the right of the page...nice.
That relationship (father and son) should be interesting. We'll see.

Wow! He is young. Hard to believe a young guy like this can outwit and outthink others who have years of experience over him. Good thing I can think of is he would be bringing fresh ideas in. I hope he works out.

Don't like his youth or the nepotism, but I hope he does well for our sake.

I could care less how young he is, just put us in position to win games

EXACTLY. I wouldn't care if he was black/white/reptile/insect, male/female/both/neither....As long as we win games and our Offense is productive, I don't care if he shows up to every game wearing a Richard Nixon mask.

On principle I don't like nepotism, but it seemed to work for Marty. (crosses fingers)

The kid seems like he's a really solid OC. We'll find out just how good he is at it when he doesn't have Matt throwing footballs to one of, if not the best, WR's in the NFL in Andre Johnson.
I do think this is a serious upgrade for the Skins though.

He is going to wanna be a head coach ultimately and as bad as we've been he knows DC is alot market than Houston. NFL, my friends, is becoming a young man's league and this guy is a perfect example of that. Him being offensive coordinator will be night and day better than what we've had. Just check out Houston's stats under him.

Pick a better mask example. Tricky Dick was the biggest Redskins fan to occupy the Oval Office, near as I can tell. So he wasn't all bad! ;)

I was just thinking that JC might've saved his job with that volcanic and eloquent response to CP this week.

Why dont we just get rid of everyone while we are at it. :smash: I really cant believe that alot of you redskins fans hate Campbell so much. Our O-line sucks so bad. That is all I have to say. I hope that they bring him back with a new and improved o-line.

Yea... and then what? Another coaches tenure wasted on a mediocre QB that thought they could do the same thing as 3 other coaches. No offense has made him look great! Why would this new offense make him any different? Just let him go!

Doesn't this seem like Act 1 of some Shakespear play? The father-king battling with the young prince...trying to save the town under siege...
I don't know. I'm happy with the hire. I just want them to run the ball effectively, have a halfway effective o-line.

HE may be only 30 but he has 57 years of experience in this offense that he has to rely on. Yea he might be the coaches son but he seems to have figured offense out in houston

or the fact he set career highs in yards, completions, tds, and a high eighties qb rating while playing the qb position from his back. He also proved to me anyway he is one tough SOB
