After reviewing all 5 games that our Redskins have played thus far, it seems reasonable to me that we could easily have a record of (5-0). Wow!!! We could also (reasonably) have a record of (1-4). Ugh!! Although I still feel fairly good about this team and still believe that we are better than last years team, this team needs some CONSISTENT play, period. Honestly, I don't know what to make of this team. Each week, I don't really have a solid feeling on the outcome (whether we will win or lose). I just don't know WHAT TEAM IS GOING TO SHOW UP. Is it just me????

I think the same team shows up week in and week out. The same team that has great talent almost everywhere yet constantly shoots itself in the foot. Are the Skins good enough to make a bunch of mistakes and beat the world champs? I don't really think so. I know that the bucs play very tough football without all of the mistakes the Skins have been making this year. I think if our guys play a good hard nosed game without too many mental errors they will win.

I like the team that focuses and concentrates and eliminates costly penalties,. I want to see this team turn the corner on penalties.

I like the team who ends the day with the win. C'mon Skins, eliminate the penalties and you can beat them.

We may have had the most penalties in the league so far...but I believe the Bucs have the most penalty yards in the league so far. THey are far from error free themselves.
I'm guess the team who has the least penalties will have the best chance of winning.

Excellent Question - and I feel like most (I think). Our team shows up every week ready to play - just can't shake the mistake bug. For US there not much difference in play from being 5-0 or 0-5 other than we ARE 3-2. ........ THIS is MAYBE why LAVAR is making noise this week - IMO. He's trying to elevate the team to the next level by focusing his anger toward the opponent. Sapp just made it easy for him. I HOPE IT WORKS!!!!

I think the Skins team that's been teasing us with flashes of greatness will show up. The only question is will they show up on time?

Both teams show up every week for us I'm not inclined to think otherwise right now but maybe Arrington brought some focus w/ his remarks. I think it's up to the bucs to bring their bad early season play to Washington and lose this game.

im hoping we see a team we havent seen in awhile. a team that shows up big in all 3 phases. a team that wouldnt have a holding call on a 60 yard TD bomb. a team that will make an INT and return it for a TD when the opposition is threating. a team that will have balanced play calling. a team that wont have a false start penalty on 3rd and 2. a team that will play smart and limit the mistakes. a team that will beat the helloutta the bucs and team we can be proud of on sunday at 4pm. lets go skins!!!!

Remember that we don't want to peak too early. I guarantee the Chiefs and Indy will not be performing the same way 5 games from now. If it was too easy that usually means something will show up later. We'll get the kinks worked out, it's all about timing.

We have a few things going for us. Two of their wide recievers are hurt. We'll be putting Champ on Keenan McCardell and Smoot on their fourth reciever. Alstott is out. The Bucs apparenty have a weakness to an offense similar to ours. We're at home. They're coming off a Monday nighter. We've gotta use these advantages and shove this game down their throats.

Man IF WE COULD JUST ELIMINATE THE MISTAKES......what kind of team would we have??? If you ask me, I would say......a PLAYOFF team for sure.

TYPE of penalties bothers me as much as the amount. I could live with the "playing tough" type penalties (like the Raiders used to get). But the penalties are the "we got no clue what where doing" type penalties.

The Turn-over Team: has showed up 50/50. (I'll guarantee a loss if that team shows up against Tampa's D)
The Penalty Team: has showed up every week. (I'll consider it a break-out game if that team doesn't show)
The 30-Min Team: has showed up every week except debatably last week. (I'll also consider it a break-out game if that team doesn't show up)
