I pose this question for 2 reasons.
1- I have him as a fantasy wide reciever, and if he doesn't play, then I need to start Javon Walker.
2- and most importantly, he is a very important key to the success of the Bucs, ESPECIALLY with all their injuries. If he doesn't play, I like our chances of winning a TON better.
So what is everyone's opinion / latest news?

I hope not. Cause then we don't have to glue champ on him, and champ can take the number two guy. We will shut down the pass with no Keyshawn or jurevicious.

Appears as if Coach Chucky will keep him out, Coach thinks he can beat the 'Skins without Keyshawn.

Yep - He going to have Sapp play the #1 WR spot.

Well, I wouldn't play Keyshawn fantasy-wise either way, just because Bailey wouldn't even break a sweat on Keyshawn.
But I don't think he'll play anyways. You KNOW he didn't want to leave that Indy game after talking all his Harrison-smack (no matter how deluded he is), so it must have been serious.

I voted don't know, but I would look for another Fantasy Option. I own Key in a few leagues, but he is like my 3rd or 4th WR on those teams. Key doesn't score TD's. I tell you what though....IF he doesn't play and with Jurvie's injury, I would look at picking up McCardell........Karl Williams is hurt too.....
We should put 10 in the box and make Brad beat us with those crappy WR's.........

Well, Keyshawn is my now my 3rd receiver that Jimmy Smith is back from his suspention...but we have a VERY deep league. 18 teams. My WR's are Owens, Johnson, Smith, Javon Walker, Santana Moss, Tim Dwight. I have to start 4 wr's. (believe me that is the MOST SOLID wr core in the league) So to replace Johnson, it's either Dwight who is good for only 2-4 points depending if healthy, or Walker who knows what he'll do.

WOW. 72 WR's play every week? Under that scenario I'd say you do have a solid WR corps. What is the scoring?
Owens, Smith, Walker & Moss would be my plays this week. Santana was given a promotion recently, and I think he's out to prove that he deserves it.

we can would beat tampa with or without meshawn johnson. he really isnt that good IMO. warren sapp has more TD catches then he does! plus, hasnt done much against the skins anyway, but he is better then those other guys they are going to have to put out there.

Jsarno,
Apologize if I don't have the quote or source; I seem to remember it was on discussed on one of those "sports guru's" type shows on the sports networks. The roundtable was discussing Coach Gruden and his reaction to the Monday night game and whaht he was thinking about for the upcoming game against the Redskins. If I spoke out of turn, sorry.

You get 1 point for each REC, and 1 point per 10 yards. (6 for tds and 1 for every 25 return yards)
You actually have to start 3, but there is a WR/RB that you can start. Since my RB's are weak, I use that as a WR spot.
I have for rb's Trung, O. Gary, G. Hearst, (those are my 3 starters) and on the bench I have a lot of backups like Thomas Jones (who has to start for me this week thanks to Gary being off)
I have trent green as my starting QB, but he's done nothing to this point. I have Tony Gonzalez as my starting TE with Dilger as my backup. Tony hasn't done much yet either...but he's been coming around.
John Hall and Kasay are my kickers...I have Hall starting this week over Kasay since I feel the defense of the bucs might keep us from the end zone.
I have a solid group of defenders as well. Brooking, Gold, Cowart, Simmons (sea).
Even with my team underachiieving week in and week out, I still manage to average 130 ppg. (I had 146 last week in a CRUSHING win.)
Gary is coming around, Hearst is on and off, and Trung is starting to get more catches out of the backfield. Green can't be stuffed too much longer in his great offense which means Gonzalez will be getting more points as well.
Owens got pissed, and he historically comes around after 4 or 5 games and kicks serious a$$! (especially in a contractyear)
Smith just came back which is a BIG boost. Lelie gets better each week ,and so does Moss. So I have a lot of optimism. This team MAY let me down, but right now, it's looking solid. Say what you want about Keyshawn but he gets me a good 12-15 ppg...I can't say that for Walker.
For the record, I do as of this moment have Walker in place of Keyshawn. Even if keyshawn does come back healthy, I doubt he'll be effective vs smoot/ bailey.

No, no, no...not at all...I was just curious as to where you got it. Watching TV is plenty of proof. Not EVERYTHING can be found on the internet. We are a boob toob country, and they have the facts a lot of the time.

Ahh and IDP league. If you have strong LB's you usually can make up for weak RB's deepending upon the scoring rules. Keyshawn has value in leagues that award 1 pt per reception. It is leagues that reward heavily for TD's that he struglles in.

YUP!
Which is why I drafted him! :D
I do wish I had just ONE solid RB. Gary had a good week last week and I'm hoping it is a sign of things to come. Before Mooch like Bryson over Gary...Ithink Gary is a better runner.
Trung needs more touches...I think we all agree on that.
Hearst just needs the offense of SF to do better so he can be sneaky and catch those balls out of the back field. If any one of those guys can come around and be reliable week in and week out, then my team is sitting pretty.
