if the Bucs score 17 or more points, the the Bucs will win.

no, the offense must win the game. If the offense does not win the game, there will be no game.

Ok...I'll compromise and say the D and O BOTH need to step up and win this game. If both don't...we dont' have a chance.

The D has showed up every week... so I have complete faith (especially against this lesser offense)

The O will have to put in the good game for us to have a chance
... 50% of the games having 2 turnovers for 2 scores
...averaging 11 penalties/game
...Ramsey taking too many hits

I think if we play a fairly error prone games, elimintae costly penalties and play good special teams, we can win this game. We come out and rack up 10-12 penalties again, we will be 3-3

I'm not going to jump off the no penalties bandwagon just yet, but I can live w/ a few false starts. Let's not foget that both our losses came in games where stupid personal fouls kept scoring drives alive (Trotter vs. Giants, and Upshawn vs. Eagles). Without those two plays we'd be 5-0.

I think we will be okay against the Bucs if Spurrier took notes and decides to run Betts a lot verse them. Passing is good, but their front four really get after the QB. They are the best D-Line in football. Add some blitzes, which they will since they know our weakness and we can have trouble. Again Spurrier needs to recognize that the run sets up the pass and if we can keep Ramsey on his feet, I think we win this game.

SkinsKY hits it right on the head. Tampa's Defense is so dangerous becuase they generate a pass rush with the front 4. I'd be very surprised to see alot of blitzing from Tampa.

While all of you make valid points, I still do not think the Washington offense will score 17 or more points against Tampa's D. That places alot of pressure on the D to make big plays for stops and turnovers.

Pittman could have a big day, assuming he is not in jail by then.
