Need a place to watch the game in NYC

Hi, I’m a long time lurker first time poster desperately seeking a place to watch Redskins games in New York City. I am totally fed up with watching awful New York football and only getting to see my beloved Skins on rare and all to infrequent occasions. If someone could recommend a bar or the like that shows Redskins games, I would be phenomenally grateful.
On a lighter note, watching the Redskins Vs the Jets in a Yonkers sports bar was quite an experience. I heard them talk much smack about the Skins, how we would lose and the only talent we had was Coles, even though Betts and Canidate were tarring up the turf. You should have seen their faces on that final drive as we smashed our way up field. When PRamsey scrambled for twenty yards to set up John Hall’s game winning field goal, I heard a screaming in the distance. I soon realized that the joyous hollering was my own, and that the entire bar eyed me viciously. I hate the Jets so very much, as all I have heard for the last two years is Jets fans telling me my team sucked. Well, thanks for Hall, Thomas, Coles and Morton, because with them, we beat your green asses. Anyways, thanks for any help.

Sounds like you had quite the time watching the Jets get their arses handed to them.

Its very funny to hear Jets fans talk about Ramsey. Before the game he sucked and he wasn't half of the QB that Pennington was. Now they think he's the real deal and can compete....whatever! PR will be a great QB....

I too am a Skins fan in NYC. Lately, we've had the luxury of the Skins being on basic TV, but I'm not sure about this weekends game. Anyway, the best place I've found in Manhattan is a bar called "Mustang Harrys." It's a sports bar around the Garden. I believe (and I will check this address again soon, because I'm probably going to be there this Sunday) its on 7th and 34th or 32nd. If you're in that general area, you can't miss it. I went there last year to watch a couple games and was happy to find a generally pro-Skins crowd. I haven't been since last year, again, since most of the games this year have been on TV, so I don't know if any of their policies have changed. For example, last year there was no cover charge or drink minimum, which is amazing. That could have changed by now. Obviously, this is such a better deal seeing as how other places the likes of ESPN-zone charge something like a $35 cover. Also, don't get confused because there's another place just down the street called "Mustang Sally's". Don't go there.
