Hey, any locals up for hanging out at the Green Turtle on Thursday for the draft? The one by the Verizon Center?

Hmmm....if I didnt hate the hassle of taking the Metro, I'd say I'm in, but oh well, lol.

Metro is only a hassle if you get stabbed, urinated on or killed in transit. The rest of the time, it's a model transit system. ;)

I've been neither of those 3 lol but its a hassle because it takes about 30 mins just to get to the station closest to me in Greenbelt. So its more about the time it takes to get there and back thats the hassle, plus the fact that its a weekday....

Friday at the Turtle is a bad idea (hockey). I would come Thursday Mike but I have softball. If anyone wants to meet at Reynolds St in Alexandria, I will be there. :D

Only once in a while do I regret moving back to Texas. Now is one of those times.

I miss having the good old hR draft day party. Sorry Mike - would love to join you but just not a good night with work the next day. It is tough enough to get up at 0345 under normal conditions - add a few adult beverages and it becomes impossible for me. :(

If I wasnt 5 hours away I'd be there in a heartbeat...well that and then Thursday is my sons 13th B-day lol.

my daughter is getting married saturday,and i have a rehersal dinner thursday night.i'll be lucky to hear anything about the draft.

On a similar point, this is why I HATE the draft being in prime time on a week night. If it were on Saturday, I'd make the drive up myself.
