Yes, we do. Actually, we have since FedEX was built. The additions just keep adding to it.....please correct me if I'm wrong.
As for a web site to prove it, I can't help ya there.
FWIW, its the largest professional stadium. There are a couple of college stadiums that are larger...Tennessee and Michigan are the first to come to mind...

Skinz, how big is Penn State? I thought they were around 70,000 to 80,000...

Fedex seats 80,116 but for some reason I believe it's more.

That's when it first opened. Capacity is now well over 86,000.

I thought so and rumored to have another 6000 added.

Penn State seats 107,000 and is second biggest behind Michagen. Tenn is third.
I do believe Fedex is the largest in the NFL. I think the Meadowlands is second and Dallas has the third largest. Arrowhead in KC is fairly large as well, but I am unsure how big it is.

I find it interesting that the Steelers didn't make their stadium that much more bigger and they also sold the naming rights for a mere $57 mil. I know Heinz bought it and the number 57 rings with them but the Steelers really lost out on some cash.

I agree h2s. I suppose they'll be playing "ketchup" with the rest of the NFL when it comes to making money on their stadium......I know....very korny...:)
Thanks eagles2000 for the info on PSU. I had no idea their stadium was that big. I always thought Neylan Stadium was the second largest behind Michigans stadium.

I was looking at the Eagles stadium on the site rskins posted and it has it opening in 1976. They updated the name but not the rest of the info. It only seats 69k.

The stadium in Italy where Juventus plays looks pretty big.

There is a stadium (soccer) in Brazil that can hold 200,000. Amazing thing about it is that it is not much bigger than FedEx. No seats, just benches.

Maracana in Rio was the biggest with 200,000 but now due to security it can take so many pepole. Stadio dele alpi in Turin is about 60,000 but it's rarely full. Stade de France is 80,000. Santiago Bernabeu (home of the Real Madrid) is 105,000 i think and Camp Nou (of FC Barcelona was 120,000). Stadio de la luz in Lisbonna, Portugal was 120,000 but it has been rebuilded for Euro 2004 and must be smaller now.

Only 60,000? It seems a lot bigger.
