I look at the use of HGH, both as an ehancement in healing processes, as well as performance processes; I also look at Stem Cell research and the amazing aid it can provide in the healing process also (I am strictly talking about one's own stem cells... not harvested stem cells, which would open an entire political abortion legality debate, I do not want to get into) and wonder... are we looking at a jump-off in human evolution?

Without fully knowing the benefits and ramifications... it is hard to say, but it seems to me we are for the first time in our existence being offered the choice to determine our next evolutionary step, consciously.

Are we not?
Do HGH and Stem Cells affect the genes that we will pass down?
Does anyone know the answer to this question?

Last I read, studies were ongoing. The only health issues linked to HGH use was an increased risk of prostate, breast, and colon cancer. For men, prostate cancer survival rates are very high (roughly 99%). Colon cancer has a 93% survival rate if treated in stage I. Much more serious.

Seems to me if you're an athlete using HGH, you can just get checked more often with a minimal risk. And the reward is millions of dollars, fame, babes, notoriety, etc.

I would use HGH in a heartbeat. It's just very expensive, a lot more than it would be to do a cycle of roids. I guess they up the price on things that don't make your boys shrink or your swimmers die.

I wonder if it would help with my back and neck issues.

I hear it does. My back and left knee could use some youth-ing.
