Wiz get Kirk Hinrich and the 17th pick. Not sure on what the Wiz gave up(I wouldn't be surprised if its Agent McShootyPants if the Bulls miss out on LeBron, etc). Its going to be hard to see how Agent McShootyPants stays around with Wall, Hinrich, Miller and Foye

The Wizards apparently are giving up nothing. They are taking on Heinrich and the pick's salaried and opening Chicago to sign two big name free agents. I don't know why the Wiz helped a team in the eastern conference like that.

Its kinda hard to pass on that deal if you're the Wiz. You get a good, vet PG who can be a great 6th man for a year and you get a top 20 pick.

The wiz have been desperately trying to trade up into the 15-20 range so it makes alot of sense in context.

I think the trade isnt official yet, so I think everyone has to treat it as if its Chicago's. The same way that these OKC picks are really for NO.

Im ok with this pick. I wasn't expecting it, but I see no reason NOT to tke on a project with upside right now. They need the frontcourt depth, and I Flip has a good track record of developing 4s(KG, Andrays development last year).

I love Booker, I think his energy and weight will add some much needed physicality in the paint, Im not a gigantic fan of giving up BOTH of those picks to get him.

I may be crazy but I think Ernie has been awful with the wizards. The guy just doesnt have the ability to draft playmakers with the exception of the obvious in John Wall.

Very true. Not one player in his history that has really become anything. Blatche might be special, but who knows. Young, Mcgee, drafting guys without giving them workouts? Thats a crossing the fingers kind of thing. He has always valued free agents over draft picks, and for the last 5 years hes tried to patch over weaknesses with bad trades.

I hope and pray Ted Leonsis fires him and gets Kevin Pritchard.

Personally I think Ernie is horrible. He pretty much botched last year's #5 pick and has this thing for european players that never pan out. I don't know what all the movement all about and certainly didn't think the frenchie was it. I thought there were a few players 'better' for us, but I don't follow French bball so who knows.

Terrible draft. What did we get other than Wall? Booker isn't an nba talent. a 6 5 power foward? Frenchy will never be an impact player and Heinrich cost us 9 million
