Coaching Staff dropped the ball

After watching this game its VERY hard to find anything positive after the 1st half. I just think the entire coaching staff dropped the ball with this one. Yes Spurriers play calling was great in the first half but how many times are you going to block Simion Rice with a RB or TE!?!?!?!? The guy is one of the best pass rushers in the league. There is a reason we are paying Chris Samuels money and as much as I dislike Samuels you have to give him a shot at Rice and let them go at it.

George Edwards made some mind boggling defensive calls. The defensive players themselves didn't do much, they all seemed to just give up in the 4th quarter. I'm still not sure how you end up covering Keyshawn with Bauman and Bowen in the 2nd half. Again why aren't our best players matched up on theirs??? Champ didn't have that good of a game unfortunatly as they just seemed to wear us down.

Hue Jackson or Spurrier whoever runs the offense just seemed to forget the 1st half gameplan. After Trung went down we seemed to forget about the running game. Why didn't we try Morton out there!?!?!?!? This guy has the speed to break a big one. Atleast give him a shot. How many times did Betts miss a block and cause Ramsey to get sacked or hurried????

AHHH This was so tough to watch. The only bright spot of the whole thing is that the Giants loss and its looking like the Cowboys may lose to the Eagles which means the NFC East is still very crowded at the top so its still anyones game.

I disagree. Rice burned Samuels and co. period. He lined up way off the edge on one play and Jensen took the inside guy and left Rice to Betts. IMO Ramsey should recognize these kind of thigs and get rid of the ball accordingly. Rice's last sack was absolutely a pathetic display by Samuels.

The defense wore out. Too many 3 and outs and that's what happens when you have a D-line who can't get one sack or pressure the QB.

Can't comment on the 1st half gameplan b/c I missed most of the 1st half thanks to whoever posted the game was resheduled at 4pm :mad:. Knucklehead.

Cowboys just won and we have to beat Buffalo before we can even have a shot at getting a win in the division.Frankly the bills game worries me.

the play that i really hated was on 3rd and 16 brad johnson passed the ball to pittman and he ran it for a first down. no one was there to cover him.

I think that our coaches need to either change the system and their coaching styles, or be fired. I have seen and heard enough. How many passes has our secondary defended? How many sacks has our defense had this year? These numbers need to change and fast!
