Maryland Earth Quake

Just checking up on our members out in Rockville and the Gaithersburg areas. Did you all feel the quake? It was a 3.6 as reported by USGS

It woke me up and felt like a dump truck roaring by my apartment.

Mike had just gotten out of bed and I was awake because I had to get up early to take Michael to the airport.

When we heard the rumble and the house started shaking, I strangely enough, thought, "earthquake" immediately. Mike, who lived in CA at one time, thought it was an explosion!

It was pretty cool, all things considered. Radio station has been playing hilarious songs all day. Like, "I Feel the Earth Move Under My Feet." And "Shakin'" by Eddie Money. lol!

I was asleep. It woke me with a thump but I was groggy since I went to bed late. At first I thought it was a plane overhead, since I live near the airpark. Then I thought it might be a plane crashing or an explosion of some sort, but no car alarms were going off. All of this in less than a second. Then my wife said, "Is that an earthquake?" I said I didn't know, got up and looked out the window. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, I went back to bed lol.

i felt it in loudoun county va this morning. i had just gotten up and relieved myself and laid back down for a bit. half awake still, i heard a sound and next thing i know i was shaking in my bed and the dogs were barking. i thought to myself "wth, was that just an earthquake?" then for a minute thought i could of been delusional about it, turned on the news and they confirmed it was indeed a quake...

You should have told your wife that it was a very cheap way to wake you up for sex, but you would happily oblige, since you are awake now. ;)

And if there were any aftershocks, I could have gotten to use the "Oh, you felt that too?" line lmao.
