I need someone that I could put all the weight of the loss on. Last year, I would blame Allen Iverson. That worked out pretty well. I think I will do that this year as well. Damn that Iverson!

I don't know about a scape goat but I'm pretty sure the first pink slip in the off-season goes to Helton.

Alright, I'll admit it. I am an imposter. I am a cowboys fan posing as a Redskins fan.

Seriously, who is Helton?

The guy who claims to be coaching the O-line.

Speeking of coaches, anyone know Mike Stoops' phone number so they can post it in Snyder's office at the end of the season. Seems like one of the better defensive schemes in NFL history doesn't fit well with us.

I wonder what Joe Jacoby is doing.. wonder if he wants a job coaching our oline?

Couldn't hurt. Although you never know cause if I'm not mistakend, Singletary is the Bears LB coach or something like that.

My scapegoat gets my full blame, HC Steve Spurrier. This teakm is no different than Norval's teams. Spurrier knows what the problems are, he knows week to week, comments every week, BUT he doesn't know how to fix it. This team has talent, we have seen teams start poorly and turn it around, Spurrier does not seem to be able to correct what he knows is wrong.

SS needs another year with the same team. I don't know if that will make the difference or not but I think it's fair. $5M per year is an aweful lot of money to pay a guy who brings 50% wins. This team needs to get it together very quickly. I want 10-6 this year. A wildcard works for me.

and then another year and then another year, and eventually we are up to 8 years like we were with Turner.

Jacoby is selling cars in Warrenton, Va.

Don't be so quick to pass the buck to the OBC. His system works, he has proven that in many places. I think this is the kind of team, a la the Pats two years back, that needs to find its comfort zone. Once they do that, I believe they are a playoff team. Right now I would say that we need to look at our defensive play-calling ahead of the offense.

Hell, he'd have to go for a coaching position over selling cars.

Shame we didn't keep Russ Grimm. My Pittsburgh friends love him to death. That's the one that got away in my opinion.

You do realize that Russ Grimm WILL be the next Redskin head coach.
