They say trouble with Ramsey and Spurrier feels SS isnt protecting him and they said that John Lynch made the statement that the Bucs were licking thier chops knowing that we did nothing to protect our qb.

Interesting... And then Spurrier pulls Ramsey because he's getting hit too much. Hmmm.

Ramsey, even in his better moments, looks like a sacrificial lamb beating the odds. It's still early in the season, but if it's still happening at the end of the season - it is a strike against Spurrier.

Maybe Spurrier got the point.

"Some of the sacks are on us and some of them are not," said left tackle Chris Samuels. "Any time you give up six sacks, everybody thinks offensive line. But as offensive linemen we're going to take criticism when there's so many sacks, so we accept that."

Poor baby thinks us fans and the media blame all the sacks on his O-line. :(

Well who does he think should get the blame when Sapp and Rice are doing a two-step in our Offensive backfield?

I saw the blow up on TV. It wasn't that big of a deal after Ramsey threw that interception to Brooks it looked like Spurrier told him Rob Johnson would be going in because Johnson was standing beside him with his helmet strapped on. Ramsey just seemed to yell something real quick at Spurrier and walk away.

Yeah, that was it. I saw it too and Spurrier mentioned that Ramsey objected to his benching at his post-game conference.
I think we should develop an official hR gameplan and submit it to the Redskins each week. We could include stuff like:

Don't triple-team a defensive lineman
Leaving a back to block Rice is not smart
Use B. Smith on 3rd downs only

Hehe you would think an offensive genius like Spurrier would know this as well.

I thought that he hollered at Brindise and not Spurrier.
