why? Cause this guy was truly an outstanding pickup. Hall has single handily erased years of kicking anguish in DC.

The guys is second over all in the NFL with 52 points, he is 4/4 on 50+ yard attempts, has not missed an extra point, has done a good, solid job on kickoffs, and has hit 14 out of 18 FGs, a 77.8% success rate.

Could we have asked for anything more than what John Hall has given us? Simply amazing and well worth the $$$!

Yes, even Spurrier knows who his MVP is so far this season. Said it on the news on Monday.

He's also kicked very well in the clutch, which--to me--is the most important thing in a kicker. It's nice if a kicker can hit them from outside of 50 yards, but that's just gravy to me. What I want is a guy who can hit a 41-yarder with the game on the line. Hall has done that for us a couple of times already this year. He's been all that we could have hoped for.

Exactly and totally opposite of what our Jet friends were hoping would happen.

Hall has been a GREAT addition but I've noticed something about his FGs from 40 yard and longer - he really get a foot into them for the distance but doesn't get much lift. The only reason I point this out is - those type of kicks do get blocked and I believe we have already had one (NYG game) which could have made a difference. I'm NOT complaining, just an observation.

He is the kind of kicker you put a tag on when his contract expires.
