Has anybody ever gone to this auction site?

I had a buddy tell me he won a $250 dollar Nike Putter for $3.50. So I checked the place out. It looked good and they have a golf gps I want on there so I bought a bid pack for 45 bucks. After I deposited the money I began to learn how the site works and got a bit pissed I didn't realize it before I spent the money.

Here's how it works

I thought the 45 dollars was the money I got to bid with but I actaully bought a bid pack....78 bids. Essentially each bid is 60 cents. If you win the product you pay seperatly for that. So I can actually piss away all 78 bids and not win a thing and be out 45 dollars.

The products go up in 2 and 5 cent increments and each time you bid it adds 20 seconds to the clock. Basically its outbidding another guy in actual bids.

So I was pretty pissed that I didn't know that but since I was in for the dough I started watching different GPS auctions and was too scared to get in on some and saw them sell for between 3 and 5 bucks. I was trying to time when to jump in. I was going to do it today and pulled back. luckily I did because the auction went up to 20 dollars which is 1000 bids total.

There was no auction tonight for the GPS so I started watching a 150 dollars pair of Oakleys. I said screw it. There were no bids on it so at 1 second I put in my bid to make them cost 2 cents. The time went back to 20 seconds and it was the longest 20 seconds ever. But nobody bid! So I won a 150 dollar pair of Oakleys for .02 cents and 1 bid worth 60 cents. With shipping it came to just under 10 dollars. I'm pretty excited about it. I think there is a strategy in bidding but alot of it is luck. I got very lucky tonight

Hope you get your glasses man. The reviews on this site aren't good:

I followed the activities on the site for 15 hours; three hours per day spread over five consecutive days. I couldn't help but notice three user names kept appearing during during my observations.

It was intriguing how these three bid on almost every auction but very rarely bidded against each other. It was also interesting to note how they posted almost 1000 bids combined in one three-hour session but they never won anything.

I can think of two possible explanations for this; There are three people out there who are very stupid but have a tremendous amount of disposable income or the website provides shill-bidders with inside information that helps them jack up the number of bids placed by real customers.

Yeah. I read alot of reviews...after I deposited the money which pissed me off even more. But if I do get the glasses and don't win anything else I basically paid 55 dollars for the Oakleys so thats still a good deal...eventhough I would've never bought them otherwise.

Those are pretty tight. I hope they come through for ya. Keep us updated and let us know if they're authentic or the ripoffs.

Sounds like that Beezid place. The people running those sites must be raking in the cash

I just got them yesterday. They look legit. I thought they would feel sturdier for something that retails for 150. Ill probably lose or break them within 4-6 months.

I also won a 55 putting mat the other day. All my bids are gone now and I'm not planning on re-upping anytime soon. I pissed away my last bids trying to win a water pick.

It looked like it might be easy to win and I figured maybe I could get my dentist off my back because I just can't floss.
