What do you guys think? Think Trung will be ready to go vs the Bills?

High ankle sprains are difficult to gauge. He might be ready, but I wouldn't make any bets on it. Besides, he's a cut and change of direction runner. Seems like a bad ankle sprain would be an especial problem for a runner like Canidate. I don't have any unusual insight into Spurrier's offensive game plan, but I'd imagine the team will just lean on Ladell Betts more than they have to date. I wouldn't expect any big changes in the game plan because of Canidate's possible absence.

Spence - your right but last week Mr. Canidate was running straight into the line (not look to cut outside) regardless if there was a hole or not. Maybe we need to be more concerned about his vision instead of his ankle.

Well, he'll cut more that run straight IMO. I say rest him up and let Ladell, if healthy, handle the running. We do have Morton and Sultan as options as well.

I thought it was his knee that was bugging him...I saw him grab that during the game. I guess the second injury was an ankle then. Shows you how much I follow up on news.
Have the Redskins said anything about the injury yet? (officially)

No word on whether or not Canidate will play on Sunday, if that's what you mean, JSARNO. I wouldn't expect that to be known [officially] until after Wednesday's practice--at the earliest. If it is a close call, I'd expect Spurrier to keep everyone guessing [especially Buffalo] even if he has no intention of playing Canidate on Sunday.

First of all Betts does not suck. He needs game reps. He'll score on Sunday, if not twice. He's the best of both worlds, speed and power. Trung will not be ready for Sunday.

Yeah.
I was just wondering if they had officially came out and said anything about the injury. Severity etc.

I think it will be a loss of Trung. He does have the speed to break one big and has shown flashes of being really effective when in the game. With that said I think Morton is as good as Trung in just about every area and will fill in equally if given the chance.
I called it before the season Morton would be starting by midseason and I'm sticking to my predication even if it is only because Trung is hurt.

I have Morton getting roughly 20 touches a game that means punt returns, kickoff returns, runs, and catches out of the backfield. Give somebody like him with his elusiveness and speed he will break atleast 1 big play each game.

Good question jsarno. i think Morton will get tocuhes before Sultan will. Guess it is a wait and see on this. Trung may actually still play. My bet is, like Randy Thomas last week, this will be a game day decision.
