Seems the great Darrell Green calls our Cbs with advice. He has spoken and given advice to Rashad this week.

NOW Rashard! Whatveer Darrell says.....LISTEN TO HIM!

Bauman will undoubtedly make some mistakes in his first action as a starter, but it will be interested to see if he looks like he'll be an asset or a liability to this team in the future ..

If smoot got picked on with champ shutting down the other side, Bauman's going to see a hell of a lot of action.

Damn it Darrell - Put on a coaching uniform and get back into this game. You'd make a hell of a good DB coach!!!!

Glad to hear DG is still involved. I was wondering if he even watched the Skins at all!

Darrell as our CB coach. I like the sound of that.

It would take as many of those Bauman pious smileys to make just one Darrell.

Actually I think Darrell is better suited for a mentor role than a coaching role. Darrell's style was always pretty unorthadox and his football smarts and blazing speed (not as much as he got older), more than made up for it. Meh .. I guess I'm not sure as the man knows his stuff, but I don't think there are many players out there who can play the style darrell played.

Read this article. DG is head and shoulders above all for me and many of us in here. Beyond reproach. I didn't like Champ's little comment in there about Bauman's technique being better than the great DG. Unorthodox, yes. Better, uh, no.

I think Rashad is going to surprise you boys. Im hoping he makes it tough for Smoot to get his job back....maybe then Smoot will shut his trap and play football.

I dont think Rashad will surprise me. I think he will be a good cover CB and if he plays well, say over the next 2 to 3 weeks, and i mean really well, could that effect the overall decidion on Bailey money?

I hear you PSF but I say no his play shouldn't determine Champ's fate here.

Is he a solid nickel back? Yes. Is he starter material? No, let alone having him replace Champ.

I don't get this. Whose replacing Champ? I thought Bauman was replacing Smoot.

Is this the cowboy in you coming out GiG? :D

:D :D

I was talking about the play of Bauman possibly affecting the FO's decision on whether or not they will resign Champ.
