View Full Version : Premature? Skins selling Bruce Smith Jersey with "Sack Record" patch.

I hope they didn't just jinx Bruce!

The Skins are now selling Reebox jerseys with a patch commemorating Bruce Smith breaking the sack total. Ahhh...last time I checked, HE DIDN'T BREAK THE RECORD YET!

Geezzz - Now what IF he's hurt in the frist series this weekend and is out for the rest of the season.

Not only that, but I understand that provisions have been made to stop the game in Buffalo to give him his " Achievement Recognition" IF he get the record their. .... I find interesting, but if they really want to do something for him - JUST let the TE block him all day with single coverage. That would kind ensure he get the record (Don't think BS would REALLY want that though).

It would be kind of nice to see him get it this weekend but then that would mean our dline would need 2 sacks and that is funny

Guys, the Bills have given up almost as many sacks as we have. It's not that hard to think it may happen.

I heard about this a week or two ago on The Steve Czaban Show [think I spelled his name correctly, but maybe not] on radio. He's a local DC guy who now has a syndicated show on Fox radio. He interviewed Bruce about it. It seems like printing out playoff tickets before the playoffs. Happens all the time. Those shirts will make nice kindling for an insurance fire somewhere if Bruce does not pull this one off.

The Bills and 'Skins allowed Bruce to line up with the Bill's defense just for old times sack, say twice?

Yep, that's dead on.
Jets got 7 sacks on the Bills last week. Jurgensen said the Bills offense was worst/32nd in the league in some departments.

Did you notice the Jersey's do say 2004 on them? So B.S. has to play again next year with us to make sure he breaks the record at age 49.

Okay that was stupid but it is Sunday Morning and I am just sitting here waiting for the games to start. Good Luck Bruce!
