Went to a Hagerstown Suns game last night to check out Harper. We are sitting in are seats and my step son makes the comment that " I bet his teammates hates Harper" this was said because of the fan attention he was getting and taking up his time..... well this guy in front of us stands up, hearing only " hates Harper" and says you can not hate Harper, as he laughs and says because I am his father. You should have seen the look in Brandons eyes, until I explained what he really said. His dad was a wonderful guy, he actually spent a lot of time talking to Brandon and his buddy about their high school team and what positions they play and how to get to Waynesboro as he is wanting to watch some high school baseball. The boys both proclaimed they were never washing thier hands after he shook their hands, hoping that some of his DNA would rub off on their bats. Great guy and him really seemed to love baseball.
OF course the game went to the top of the 3rd and we had a serious rain storm with a tornado touching down close by so our night was short but very cool.
Just a cool story I wanted to share, me being a Phillies fan got a laugh out of him when I told that I wanted to see Harper bump Werth out of a job soon..... great nigh other than the rain

Cool story. I bet you and your son will replay that story for years. Good thing.

We often times lose sense that these players and other celebrities are just people. More often than not, they're pretty decent. Glad you had a good time.

Well lets see......your right, way too long. Things are going good here. Busy as usual working full time, going to school pretty much full time and a new family ( am now engaged to a wonderful woman and have taken her 16 year old and 13 year old as my own) so with 3 kids life is crazy busy but good. Remember that little girl that I brought to a game a few years back, well she is not so little anymore, she will be attending Lock Haven this fall. She is all grown up now. Oh still coaching softball when I am awake. Sorry so long winded......

After waiting to see Bryce hit, hit struck out on some high heat..
