HEY! CONGRATS!
If AGG didn't make a comment about it in the abortion thread, I would have never known.
Ummm, on a side note...that's 4 man. 4!!!!
I think it's time to call the urologist. :D

jsarno,
I hear ya. I am still a little leary about someone bringing a knife down to happy land, if you know what I mean.
AGG,
You so hit the nail on the head with that one. All they want to do all day long is kiss him and pet him like a dog, especially the youngest, Madecyn. It's a trip.

Don't worry...happy land will still be fully functional. It will just need a temporary closing for "remodeling". :D

Alright ,it looks like I'm gonna have to jump in here.
Let me just say one thing fellas...a certain amount of relief and gratitude on wifeys part follows such a sacrifice.
When a woman knows that there is only a miniscule chance of ever becoming pregnant again...she enjoys "marital relations" MUCH more!!!
Hubbo only hurt for 24 hours, it takes a good 6 weeks to recover from giving birth.

wait a minute though...you can't compare those two. Men are hurting from a place not meant to hurt but bring pleasure. And we try all our lives to not get hit there as to NOT inflict pain. Women are born knowing they will have pain there. BIG DIFFERENCE.
Also, men can have babies til the day they die. Women have a clock so no matter what after a certain age / time they will stop producing. These are things the male has to overcome.
However, let it be known, that I already have plans to get snipped after our first child (if it's a boy), if it's a girl, we'll probably go for one more. I'm going to do it because I don't want many kids...it's taking responsibility for myself and the future the way I look at it.
All the men that have got it done (that I know) have said it doesn't make much of a difference after the first month or two sexually. Women may appreciate it, but they fall back into their grooves. Not a one became more sexually aggressive.

On a positive note though Robert...I have not heard of ANYONE that didn't regain FULL PLEASURE AND FUNCTION in the "happy area". There is nothing to be afraid of. If you are sure neither of you want anymore kids, this is a no brainer.
All wives do appreciate you taking the lead role in fixing the situation as they feel they have taken the lead roll for years in terms of birth control.
Good luck to you. Better to do it now while you'll be "sexless" because of the birth, and get it over with.

I've always wondered if there's any operation that can somehow undo that, in case you want kids again. Anyone know?
jsarno
10-26-2003, 04:12 PM
Yes, there is, but it's only about 50% affective.
jsarno
10-26-2003, 04:12 PM
actually I think it's only like 25% effective to reverse it, but you get the point.

I also found out that after the procedure, you are still shooting "live rounds" for approximately the next 25 sessions, due to what was stored up in the plumbing, if you know what I mean!
So, the moral is, don't go jumping into the pool without checking the depth of the water, or something like that.

I actually heard it was 40 "rounds". Tough to get rid of those little suckers eh?
AGG...NEVER argue with a man about their "privates" and NEVER argue with a woman about her "privates". There is always two sides to a story, and both feel strongly. It doesn't make either side wrong, just more important to the individual. You argued one side, I argued (jokingly) the rebuttle. Obviously I think it's a no brainer on what to do.
