My Ideal Skins Draft ..

This is an ideal draft for me .. though i don't necessarily think it will happen or all of the players will come out ..

1) DE David Pollack, Georgia (Jr)
2) QB Brad Smith, Missouri (So)
3) OG Stephan Peterman, LSU (Sr)
4) Pick Traded
5) OLB Pasha Jackson, Oklahoma (sr)
6) Probably gone as Chase will play more now
7) Traded for Dalton

People will probably rip the Brad Smith selection .. and I seriously doubt he will come out. But I am a believer in taking the best player on the board and as often as qb's go down in this league, you really need 2 guys you can depend on. Imagine Spurrier getting to experiment with a QB of that mobility ..

I think Brad Smith will stay as he needs every year of eligibility to refine his passing skills and move himself up the draft board. He needs to be a polished passer when he comes out so teams don't try to "Randle El" him.

I think it would be a mistake for him to come out early.

Brad Smith? I don't know, do you really think he has the arm to make it as a QB? However, even if he turns out to be "only" a Randle-El type player I still might reach for him in the 2nd. He would at least have as big a contribution as our 2nd round receiver this year.
