I predict 17-13. It's ugly and frustrating.

I predict Fitz breaking free for BIG gains around 4 times, twice for TDs. Our DBs will have problems containing him. Wells will move the ball well enough on the ground to get things moving. In general, our defense will alternate between being aggressive and physical and giving up big plays.

However, I'm not convinced that their defense can stop us. I think this will be a high-scoring game. We will put up more points than we have in a long time.

Running game will be much better this week, opening up some big plays down field with a pair long TD's to Moss and Armstrong. Hightower runs for 155 yds and 2 scores, one a 40+ yarder. Rex 16/24 2 TD's, 0 turnovers. Gano hits a 49-yd fg as time runs out in the 1st half. Defense gets 2 ints, 2 fumbles, 6 sacks(Kerrigan gets 2 of em).

Basing this off of Lady's prediction and Rex throwing 300 yards again AND throws 2 TDs . .... Plus adding that Hightower piles up 100+ yards and scores once and Banks takes it to the house for one. Gano doesn't miss adds two. Fitz has his way with the secondary but not enough.

Gano with 2 FGs when the offense stalls in the redzone in the 1st quarter. Then, like the Giants game, the offense gets moving. Hightower breaks out for 102 yds and 2 TDs. Armstrong with another TD and Davis breaks the goal line to seal the deal late in the 4th quarter.

man, i think some are a little to optimistic. If we win this game i don't think it will be in blow out fashion. I expect the skins to take the lead early but then the cards will wake up in the second half. I think the game will be decided by 7 or less points. I hope the skins pull it out so I'll predict the skins to win 20 to 17.

Here's my ugly prediction:

Game tight/closed to being tied in the first half.
Rinse and repeat performance by The Witness.

Second half, The Witness witnesses what a defense with Gomes looks like
and our offense[specifically the run game] becomes a double-edged sword in that it not only scores points & runs time off the clock but it also reduces the opportunities for the Arizona offense[specifically the passing attack] to get on the field and score.

Winner of Time of Possession in 2nd half wins.

I think the defense shuts down the Cards offense and you'll see the same steady performance from Grossman and the offense. Hopefully Williams can get his act together this week and give some protection, if not then the Redskins score drops by a couple of TD's but still get the win.

A really good prediction. How did you arrive at 22 points? One TD and 5 FGs? Or, the actual 2 TDs, one missed conversion and 3 FGs?
