What happened to seeing Friedman if Dockery stunk up the joint? He had a false start and a hold, and of course who can forget the "BLATANT" and possibly intentional swatting of the ball out of Ramseys hand??? Dockery needs to be in on running downs and short yardage situations so he can gain some confidence. he's to raw right now and he really stinking up the joint.

I agree, the entire line sucks.

I agree. Take him out.

Yeah, Dockery should not be in there. They need to promote Lennie Friedman and start him. I'm sure he's not as physical as Dockery, but the rookie is just making too many mistakes. He doesn't know what he's doing out there.

Spence, that about sums up everyone on the line except Thomas.

You really think that's the answer. Sure Dockery is making his share of rookie mistakes and looks lost at times but putting a career backup in who is 62 lbs lighter at the guard spot - I don't think we'll see any differences in the results. The only way DD is going to develop into a quality lineman is to get in there and play. He's got two weeks now to evaluate his play. The coaches need to work with him during this time ( and don't give him a week off either).

Here's the question. Are the coaches working with him? Are the coaches working with Samuels? Are they working with everyone else that is supposed to be providing protection?

Yep - makes you wonder huh?

Well...I almost jumped through the screen when I saw the reply of the Ramsey fumble on the goalline. Dockery took off on a Guard pull to quickly...and ripped the ball right out of Ram's hands.

That is almost as bad as when George and Banks used to get sacked by their own centers on the snap!

With mistakes made on a goaline push, I'd prefer Dockery stays FAR away from the starting lineup.

Well, I agree to some extent, but i also think Dockery is having a tough time learnign a failed scheme. Samuels and Jansen were awesome, they are even struggling. Take a look at the situation as a whole, and I think you will find why indiviudals are struggling. Scapegoats don't help. Take a look at the whole damn package. The blocking schemes, audibles, all of it, it is horrible.

I agree MArk, can alll of our oline be the reason or the problem? I do not think so. Jansen is one of my favorites and Samuels didn't make the pro bowl becuase he sucks. Something else is going on here and I look to SS to fix it

Yes...but every NFL team has RBs or TEs or FBs making blocks for their QB. (and quite frankly, many do a wonderful job of it) That is the nature of the game. None of our backfield players seem to know how to block AT ALL. Sure...Spurrier may require it more than others...but we lack talent in blocking...period.

If Betts is out for Dallas, and so is Canidate, I think we should have 2 fullbacks in the backfield the entire game. Bryan Johnson to fullfill the blocking role (which he is fairly good at) and Rock for the rushing/short yardage role).

Something to think about - the one drive that we did score on and even the one where we on the goalline before the turnover, the Offense was putting it together. In those drives there was some good execution. The system can work!~

I agree with Patrick, the problem is the o-line makes stupid mistakes at the wrong time.

The system sure worked on the Tampa in the first half. I agree that it is execution and not the system.
