I am really happy to share with everyone that my wife gave birth to our second daughter, Keira on December 21, 2011! Mom and baby are doing great and she is such a joy! It's been a difficult year losing my father-in-law, a man who is more of a father than my own, to a bout with cancer but it ended with the best gift ever.

Sadly I am back to work tomorrow because I have become accustomed to being a *stay at home dad*.

Congratulations to you and the missus mate.

Mind you, I'd keep quiet the fact that you've saddled your new-born with the burden of being a Skins fan otherwise you might be getting a visit from the child welfare authorities...

They have already threatened to take my first born, but I just fire back with "well the local team is the Eagles" and they shut up quick.

I really cannot picture us not being good in their lifetime... Hopefully they see at least ONE championship.

Sorry I missed this earlier,

Congrats to you and Mo, Bryan!!!

You know, my father in law died a month before my second daughter was born. Thankfully, he had suggested a name for her (Abigail) that we were glad to use in his honor.

Mazal Tov, Smoak! Congrats to you, your wife and entire family.
What a wonderful way to begin 2012, with a new baby girl at home.

It is amazing how often a new baby arrives around the same time as a loss occurs. I have seen this happen so many times that I think there is more to it than mere coincidence.

I would hope not - based on this season alone, Smoak would have eleven extra mouths to feed...

Thanks Rich! Yeah, the *Father with all Daughters Club* continues.

It was tough losing Ed. He was a father to me and treated everyone with such kindness... And trying to help Mo through it while she was pregnant was difficult..

Thankfully Keira is doing *perfect* according to her doctor
