Chiefs?! I'm tired of hearing all the Parcells is god talk w/o mentioning Dick Vermeil. If I had my choice it would be Vermeil believe it or not. Unlike Parcells He does it w/ more of a pleasant atmosphere. His teams are more exciting to watch running up the score too, boy the Rams look stupid now.
Who would you chose between the two greats?

Went with Parcells becuase he does it with less talent. Vermiel is awesome at rebuilding teams, but his defenses aren't always spectacular. Parcells teams are extremely well coached and prepared to play games. His D's are tough and as we can see he can get a so so offense to play pretty well.

They are both excellent coaches who know how to win and produce winners. I DON'T like either one though!..... LOL.... I take Mike Tice, he not great (yet) but he IS a PLAYERS coach and is getting it done too. .......... Go Terps!!!!

Neither will be here so i wont vote in this. If we do a poll, we woudl have to do coaches we have a shot at

I didn't want to do a poll w/ guy's we have a shot at b/c I'm still a Spurrier guy. I just wanted to know which style people preferred between the two greats.

Vermeil. This guy is an offensive mastermind. only if we had a wizard like him on our dismal team.

This is not to say Parcells sucks...but since Belichek left his side, he has not won. He's a great scout, and a good coach. He knows how to get more out of players, and toy with emotions.
But Vermiel is the man. He took over a TERRIBLE Eagles team and made them dominant. In his third season he took them to the playoffs, and he eventually guided them to the superbowl where they lost. Then he went to the doormat Rams and in his third season won the whole damn thing with one of the best offensive teams ever.
Now he's with KC and is in his third season looks like the team to beat in the whole NFL. Best special teams in the league, and best offense in the league.
Keep in mind Dallas has played teams like Atlanta (who they lost to) Jets, Arizona and Detriot (those 4 teams might just be the worst 4 teams in all of football). Parcells has not impressed me yet with team, but we all knew he'd make the Cowboys better.

Wow, this is a really tough choice... I'd have to say Vermeil, because at least he didn't announce that he was going to leave his team before it played in the Super Bowl.

Dick Vermeil
Why ?
Parcells = flash, good talent evaluator and motivator and that's where it stops.
Vermeil = substance, great talent motivator and adapts system to players to produce winners.

Parcells. Immediate results in Dallas with a team that has gone 5-11 the last three years.
