This was put out by Karl Marx as a simple step by step method for anyone to turn a nation to support of communistic beliefs. Do you see any of them happening in our country?

1. Abolition of private property

2. Heavy progressive income tax

3. Abolition of rights of inheritance (say, a 51% inheritance tax?)

4. Confiscation of property rights

5. Central Bank

6. Government ownership of communication and transportation

7. Government ownership of factories and agriculture

8. Government control of labor

9. Corporate farms, regional planning

10. Government control of education.



These are several of the government ystems that the Democrats are working hard to bring into our society. And we wonder why most Americans over 40 figure this out and vote Republican.

And why Bill Clinton appeals to MTV... before they learn the truth.

Yeah, that happened yesterday, didn't it?

2. Heavy progressive income tax

I might point out that the United States has the least progressive income tax in the industrialized world, but what would be the point of that?

3. Abolition of rights of inheritance (say, a 51% inheritance tax?)

Yeah, I'm supposed to be worried about whether Bill Gates' kids will inherit $40 billion or have to make do with $25 billion. Even Bill Gates and Warren Buffett favor the inheritence tax.

4. Confiscation of property rights

I think we covered that under #1

5. Central Bank

We've already got one. Had one for years. Right now it is being run by a Republican. Rotten commie Republicans.

6. Government ownership of communication and transportation

FOX is working on full ownership of communication. As far as transportation...well, most of the airlines are usually a month or two away from bankruptcy. Maybe Rupert Murdoch will move into that area.

7. Government ownership of factories and agriculture
That also happened yesterday.

8. Government control of labor

I think the Bush regime would settle for exterminating labor unions.

9. Corporate farms, regional planning

We've already got corporate farms. Huge ones. All over the place. Running family farms out of business. I don't know if you want to run far with this one, though, Kev. Agribusiness is one of the biggest donors to the Republican party. Heck, Bob Dole used to fly around in the Archer-Daniels Midland corporate jet.

10. Government control of education.

If most Americans are voting Republican [not true, but let's set that aside for a moment], why would Democrats want the government to take over education--or anything else? Wouldn't that amount to a Republican takeover of education? Why exactly would the Democrats want that? You may need to think this one over again, Kev.
