Will be used by marginal players looking for an edge to get their butts off the bench. Should be banned and studied to determine a way to test and detect it.

Well it's part of a big scandal in athletics now. 4 US athletes have already been tested positive and due to the organization of the ditribution of THG they could be banned for life (normally it's 2 years). The best european sprinter has been tested positive also. In august, we had the world athletics championship, and all sample will be retested for THG. That is normal and very sane. It will be also the case for the current rugby world cup. it wasn't detectable, now it is. The problem is that cheaters are always ahead of controls.

Until such a time as a strict testing and punishment program is instituted, there will be those types who want to cheat to claim the title of athlete.
