I love smoot. That guy is the next Dieon, but in a good way. We need his swagger and confidence on this team. He's doing the veteran thing now and trying to play hurt. That shows big Cojones IMHO. I hope the rest of the team notices and grows a pair.(that's intended for the guys who laugh, joke, and slap butts with the other team when we lose.)

You guys may be all excited, but will a 75% Smoot be effective enough? I think Smoot has an incredible heart for the game and wants to play badly, but man, i just don't think he is truly ready.

I kinda like seeing a playre wanting to play hurt to help the team and get back out there but he needs to make sure he is right before he comes back

I don't think he should go........ Hell, he hardly can hit as it is, let alone not be close to 100%. I bet if he plays they will run to his side all day because he isn't gonna be tackling very well at all.

I like his heart though, but hey, once again he is a vet.... and I would expect "ANY VET" to have the desire to play hurt.

New here but I thought to put my input. Smoot is no Dion but I think having him in the game in coverage is a great help. Dion became a future first ballot HOFer without tackling people. As long as he takes it easy I could care less if he gives a Terrell like effort when it comes to tackling (pat preseason game ugh) as long as he stays on his man and causes Q.C. to throw the ball into the ground or make him think twice. Farquad (rashad) was not getting it done and with a hurt ankle?????? So basicly I hope smoot plays.

smoot needs to play. there is no one else bauman is hurt too. and i dont want to see ade jimonh in there.

Terrell will be the third corner. He seems to do well playing the position he is SUPPOSSED to play.

Smoot is showing me alot by saying he needs to play because his team needs him. That is a great quality!
