Good find Mexskins. I love Riggo b/c he's not afraid to let somebody have it. As far as his comments here I don't agree. You have to stick w/ Spurrier for three years. The key is Spurreier AT LEAST getting players to play good losing football.
It will be hard to justify firing him w/ the the defensive line the way it is. Teams can drive methodically on us by the 2nd half and keep the offense cold.
I think the biggest thing that can make Spurrier look bad right now is protection. A DE should not have success another week lining up wide and isolating a TE/RB. Samuels has to get his hands dirty too.

First of all, John Riggins has always been radical, sometimes outrageous in what he says, about anything!
Secondly, the Man has walked the walk and can now talk the talk.
Is he right?
Only the outcome of this Sunday’s game will prove his assumptions.
"If that game goes really heavy Dallas' way, (Spurrier) may not make it through the week," Riggins said on Sporting News Radio's Scott Wetzel Show.
What makes a game “heavy” Is it a blow out and a complete breakdown, Heaven Forbid, on the Redskins part? Is it a hard fought loss? Is it a close game lost due to stupidity, penalties, a poor game plan, clock management and an inability to adjust?
"I just think that the waters are really starting to churn in D.C. I think that as I saw the anguish and almost the hopelessness in Steve Spurrier's face, that it's just a matter of when this agony is going to end."
It is no secret that there has been a lot of conversation, speculation and trepidation by a lot of people during the bye week. The “Old Ball Coach” is rather expressive and the cameras always manage to catch the worst! As far as when the agony ends, I suspect that Spurrier’s ego will come into play here, though!
"If that happens, I think that this team is going to disintegrate and I don't think there's going to be much choice (but to fire Spurrier)."
I believe the Team has more character then to disintegrate, but I’m not sure about The Danny and the FO! (The patience factor!)
John speaks his mind, and I agree with a lot of what he senses.
Let’s hope for a Redskins WIN!

I'm really tired of reading all this stuff. I don't think Danny fires Spurrier if he loses. Spurrier needs three years. It's not his fault we don't have talent on the defensive line. However, if we do lose, I can see some coaching changes made but it won't be Spurrier. I heard that Snyder guaranteed a win today and said if we don't, they'll be changes in the coaching ranks.

We have talent everyone but d-line. Every team has its holes. A good coach does not need a dream team to win.
