It's a combination of 3 things.
1. Bad schemes. DC are finding numerous ways to compromise our schemes.
2. Missed assignments. When the schemes are correct, we wind up triple teaming a DT and putting a TE on a DE.
3. Players are flat out getting beat by the guy across from them.

It kills me that the Giants, who are starting 2 rookies can protect Collins, but the Skins w/ 2 pro-bowl tackles and a stud Guard (has Thomas gone to the pro-bowl?) can't protect worth crap!!!
Also, I'm reading how a lot of you are bashing Ramsey - but I have nothing but respect for him - he is a machine and a warrior. How many other guys would throw in the towel, but he jumps back up. I'll join in on the bashing, but all mine goes to the coaching staff - they need to revise their scemes.

Ramsey STARES DOWNFIELD LIKE HE'S BEHIND THE WALL OF CHINA!! C'MON GET RID OF IT?! Hasselback did it.
I can't fault Ramsey too much considering those low-life quiters we call an offensive line (excluding Thomas) can't protect. I have the tape, I'll try and review that crap, but I saw a lot of soft play by Dockery today. Thomas as usual performed very well, he stands out like a sore thumb.
I Blame the players more than the coaches. They stink.

Because Ramsey dosen't know what he is doing...He calls for a protection that calls for a three step drop and he drops 5..... Didn't you listen to the announcers today

Because five guys can not block 8 pass rushers

Patrick Ramsey has a lot of faults as a 2nd yr QB. Those faults are compounded by a lousy game plan, poor coaching and the lack of an expereinced backup QB to teach him only the things one QB can teach to another.
And that I lay on the Head Coach and the owner.

I am not glossing over Patrick Ramsey's deficiencies.... He has lots to learn and many ways to improve... But, can anyone show me a 2nd yr QB who came in under the same set of circumstances and performed any better? Most "off the bench" QB's came from systems where they had time to learn, followed in the steps of pro-bowl caliber QB's and had a coaching staff that knew how to get it done in the NFL with the talent they had.

The Spurrier system does nto cater to a hot receiver, a dump off guy either. Look at many of the sacks, receivers are still running routes, not finishing the route. Where do you expect him to throw to???? Yes, some may be his fault, but most are not. He does not have the time. Unless he throws quick slants and screen, he will be decked, because Spurrier is sending four to five receivers out on an 8 man blitz. There is no possible way for Ramsey to have the time to wait for the WR to run the full route.
The Fun N Gun was great in college, but this is a different level. You have faster DEs and Dts, you have better cover Dbs, you have excellent dfensive minds picking up the weaknesses of the system.
