Seems this has been a Democratic rallying cry for months... now we hear nothing.

It was even reportd in another thread that the REAL measure of the economy is JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!

So........ what will the Democrats next dig up to blast the President?

Might as well get ready... Bush will be re-elected... and thanks mostly to the poor representation the Democrats have to run against him.

Yep, instead of running on what they can do, they run on lets see how much we can slam the president. God I hate slam politicians.

I thought you guys would like to know that the latest polls show Bush losing to a generic Democrat and that only 38% of Americans definitely will vote to re-elect him, while 44% will definitely vote against him.

I don't think you'll see these employment numbers hold up, but I hope they will. I was speaking to two economists this morning, one from the right wing American Enterprise Institute and one from the centrist Brookings Institute and both thought the numbers would not hold up. I hope they're both wrong.

Bank One chief Economist Diane Swonk has been quoted as saying that it will hold up...
