Let me be the first to start a rumor that the Vikings are going to pull Daunte in favor of Gus this weekend. They won two in a row with Gus and have lost 4 in row since Daunte got back in there.

As far as I've seen, the offense is stillworking pretty well. It's the defense that's fallen apart.

Actually I'm not the first. People here were calling for Daunte to be benched a week or more ago, which I think is really silly.

But Daunte did throw 3 ints and lose 2 fumbles. And I don't think that can be blamed on the D.

But the primary problem with this team is on the D side of the ball. They just can't stop the run. And now that everybody has figured that out, they are in big trouble.

Time for some personal reflection if your benching in favor of Gus Frerotte is being called for!
