Hey everyone!!

First time I have used this sight. I would like to say that it is nice to know that there is an amazing Redskins sight like this one that allows people to discuss all the topics regarding this great franchise. Living in Canada, I am not exactly in the hotbed of Redskins football . This sight does an amazing job of keeping me informed and I would like to thank all of you for that. With a great cable package and a very loving wife, I have not missed a Redskins game on television in the last 3-4 years. For the past ten years I have suffered through the false hope syndrome that seems to stem from every offseason where I convince myself that “Really, this is the year of the Redskins”. Call me crazy but I really do see our luck starting to change.

I know that a lot people out there do not think too highly of this coaching staff and at times during the game I don’t either, but I can not bear to think of another off-season where a new coach and a new system is brought in. I feel that given time and showing patience that Spurrier will figure this NFL thing out. Give Ramsey more then 12 games to learn a complex system – another offseason of studying will only help the overall offense. As for George Edwards – give him some talent on the DLine – I firmly believe that Trotter and Arrington are trying to do too much because they don’t trust our pass rush… this is why they are constantly out of position. I would like to see him blitz Trotter a bit up the middle instead of always sending Arrington around from the outside. Someone needs to convince Snyder and co. that SuperBowl teams usually aren’t built in a year. Call it a cliché, but winning takes time… sometimes you have to lose first before you can start to win. Yes we have endured a decade of sub-par performances, but every year it’s a whole different cast of players. We lose one season and management has to change the whole look of the team. How many new starters do we have in the line-up this year compared with last season. Let this team lose together, learn to hate it and come back with a purpose next season.

Welcome to hR Fergie, glad you found us and glad we're able to keep you uptodate on the Skins.

I as well don't want alot of wholesale changes but I think something has to be done. I don't know if Spurrier is going to accept some of things he'll have to do to be successful in the NFL. I just don't see him learning and adapting. If he's going to be here next year and things are pointing that way, then he needs to make some changes to his coaching staff. Specifically, Kim Helton. I'm still a little leary of Mike Stock as well. I'd like to see with Edwards can do with a better Dline and I'd like to see Spurrier turn the playcalling back over to Hue Jackson (if he's here next season.)

The good news is that you have publically admitted your adiction to this website. That is a vailiant first step towards recruiting others to be the same. :D

What's up Fergie56. I'm new here too so I figured I'd give a hello. I lived in Ottawa for two years, went to Notre Dame High School. Great town, friendly people, a little cold for me nowadays. Later, eh!

Welcome fergie56 and semiskin!http://www.industreal.spb.ru/smiles/hat.gifYou may call me Mom.

fergie, you will find that we seem to be divided on the issue of whether Spurrier should stay or go. It makes for great debate! Which is why I love this site.
