I am sure this was discussed already but I could not find it. Those of you who watched the game from home. Did you see that woman wiht a sign that said "Trade Snyder" and in small letters "im serious". That was freaking hilarious. :D

I saw it. I thought it was great. I also mentioned to the person I was watching the game with that I bet Snyder saw it, and he will probably have his people figure out what seat she was sitting in in his stadium and then he will revoke her tickets.

I'd trade Snyder for Al Davis, or George Steinbrenner

Darn, I missed that sign. I like her sense of humor and her football instincts.

NamVet asked for whom we should trade Snyder. My answer: Anyone but Peter Angelos.

How about George Steinbrenner.

Actually he's about the same, except George buys clothes in the Men's Department.

(There now I've done it, I'm going to my tickets revoked too. Good thing I don't have any.)

Careful what you wish for. Another owner group may just want to move this fanchise.

Don't see why. It's the most successful in the country right here.

Spence

Yeah, no one would move the Redskins. Ownership of that stadium is like a license to print money.

Agreed. Some fans are mad atthe sign, but what the heck, it is pure fan frustration.

She paid Snyder for the right to show that sign. Who's getting the last laugh?

That was one of the positives of the game, I couldn't think of any positives after the game, thanks for reminding me . Can we impeach him?

No, I'm not. Think about it. She bought a ticket to see Snyder's team in Snyder's stadium. Also think about the fact that even if that ticket seat isn't hers (she may have gotten it from someone else who is a season ticket holder), the money is already in Snyder's pocket for that game, the games prior, and the rest of the games this season. While she may have thought that her sign was cute, I'm pretty certain that Snyder didn't offer her a refund because of her displeasure.

Like I said, she paid him to be able to show her sign.

Yeah but where else are you going to get that kind of publicity for $129.95. I'd pay Snyder twice that to get my sign across America. Hilarious.

Hmmm, you both have points.

i'll take snyder over bidwell (cardinals owner) ;)

Hehe thats a good point Kenny....anyway I thought it was hilarious but it would have been even funnier to show Snyder's reaction to it. Nothing is gonna change Snyder except our dollars to be honest. If fans get fed up with him enough to stop spending money on the team....then and only then will he make changes imo. I don't see that happening though. :(

Back in the day when the NY Giants were bad, I mean really bad, (the Joe Pisarcik/Larry Csonka years) it took a fan revolt to make some changes.

People showed up in the stands with signs like that one. There were ticket burning parties at the stadium. One fan even hired a plane to fly around Giants Stadium with a banner trailing it that said something like "NY Giants - 20 years of lousy football". After that public humiliation, the owners (Tim and Wellington Mara) went out and hired a good football GM (George Young) and a coach (Ray Perkins - but he quit pretty early to go to Alabama and was replaced by Bill Parcells). They got their QB (Phil Simms) and the monster LB (LT) through the draft and were on their way to glory.

The 'skins already have their QB (Ramsey) and their monster LB (LaVar), now all they need is a fan revolt that leads to bringing in a football GM that can bring in a good NFL coach, and then the 'skins will be on their way to glory.

Being way out here in Minnesota, I can't really lead the fan revolt, but I'll cheer it on when it happens.

Well...considering Snyder is not even 40 years old yet, he will most likely be the owner of this team for the next 4 decades.

We have three options:
1. We cross our fingers and hope that he will change his ways. (and bitch and moan about him along the way)

or

2. We turn in our jerseys (and decide we can't root for a team owned by him)

or

3. We get used to him, because he isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Minnesota Mike

or

4. Publicly humiliate him until he decides he needs to hire a GM.

He's obsessed with his media image and must be aware of how awful it is. Until now, he's been able to shrug it off as attacks from the national media. If the local media starts attacking him, maybe he'll become embarrassed enough to stop trying to make decisions he is not qualified to make. It won't be easy, though. The Wash Times and Snyder have a terrible relationship, so Snyder relies on the Wash Post. Television "journalists" never attack the home team in any substantive way, so don't look for help from George Michael [not the singer, for your out-of-towners]. At the Washington Post, columnists Michael Wilbon and Tom Boswell might take after Snyder. Kornheiser, who barely works for The Post these days, certainly will NOT do it. He and Snyder are friends and pal around quite a bit. Kornheiser will protect Snyder as long as he can.

I did my part to get his arse out of Washington. Never bought one ticket or piece of merchandise.

Option 4 sounds like the most reasonable.

Seriously though Bidwell is the scariest owner ever. I think I'd have to turn away from the Skins and toward european soccer if we ever had a guy like him.

I loved the sign, and kudos to the camera man for getting the point!

I absolutely agree with MMike, I've been thinking all season that we need a huge grass roots movement to show Snyder our displeasure of his "management" of this team.

One lone woman started it...now lets get everyone one board. I'm going to the Eagles game
I'm gonna bring a sign
what should it say?
