Would you consider this a promotion?

Okay, I posted in this forum yesterday that Spurrier Jr was trying to leave the Redskins and return to the college ranks. This obviously does not surprise me. One could suggest that this is like rats leaving a sinking ship, but I don't blame Junior at all. As far as the NFL is concerned, the reputation of the entire offensive coaching staff of the Redskins is in tatters [possibly excepting Hue Jackson]. Fleeing back to college is the smart career move.

I wonder if the band will still play while the ship is sinking....

And him leaving is going to change the course of our season.
Joining a good school while the program is down, I wouldnt call that a bad career move.

This may also be an indication that SS will not be sticking around as well.

If Spurrier leaves that would be great. I do not want Snyder firing him though. That will keep an ugly trend.
