I couldn't figure out what qualified Millen for that job in the first place,

As far as playing outside, he clearly has not seen this current Vikings team play.

Another unanswered mystery is "Why don't sportswriters check their facts?"

Back in the days when they were dominant, the Vikings played in Metropolitan Stadium, (aka The Met) not Municipal Stadium. In fact, in order to capture some of that mystique and preserve some of that history, the Hubert H. Humphrey Dome is more commonly known as the "Metrodome".

At least he didn't say anything about the 'skins playing at JFK Stadium.
