Thoughts???

This roster really confuses me. How does Larry Allen and Jeremy Shockey make the rosters when they haven't played half the season??? Randy Thomas should be in over Allen and Jim Kleinsasser deserved to go over Shockey. A decent amount of guys made it based on name value in my mind including Urlacher, Aeneas Williams, and Farve most notably. None of these guys really put up the numbers deserving to go but got in on rep and name value. Big credit for Boldin recieving a pro bowl invite he's played tremendous this year and often rookies are left out.

I agree. I also think that Wilkins does not deserve a spot. I am not impartial to Rams. I just think his stats are inflated. He plays in a dome. A kickers place to play. Most of those kicks were short. I think that either Akers or Hall should have been in there. Boldin has had one hell of a season. The Cards look pretty smart for letting Boston go, now, don't they?

Champ I'm glad ya made it, but you didnt have a pro-bowl year IMHO.I'm not blaming our season on champ either LOL. I just think he played no better than Smoot who didnt make it.

Anyone know how much the fan voting counts? I expect most players get invited on name recognition alone (like Favre).

How in the hell did Matt Hasselbeck not make it? Here's some #s for everyone to ponder:

Player: Comp Att % Yards TD Ints Rating

M. Hasselbeck / 272 / 452 / 60% / 3367 / 23 / 12 /89.0

B Favre / 274 / 420 / 65% / 2846 / 27 / 20 /86.3

D. Cullpepper / 257 / 397 / 65% / 3022 / 21 / 9 /95.9

D. McNabb / 235 / 419 / 56% / 2736 / 12 / 9 /76.6

Matt should have made it over Favre and McNabb, IMO.....

McNabb has turned into a "game manager" type QB. Game managers don't make pro-bowls. Hassellbeck has had an excellent season.
