...and God bless, should be Kevan Barlow. Screw drafting one lets get this guy. He's young, quick, complete, and P-R-O-V-E-N. This guy is exactly what the offense needs.

B/c Spurrier has been such a clown this year at play-calling I've realized his problem is calling away from players strengths to 'catch the defense off-guard,' especially in regards to the running game. Spurrier cannot manage specialists he needs all around/complete player's to work with. No more speed backs, power backs, 3rd down backs bla bla just Kevan Barlow. A complete back por favor.

If Betts had any trade value left I'd trade his ass and keep Rock, Chad and Trung as back-ups and utilities.

Barlow is a good choice but in case the niners resign him we'll draft a rb probaly Steve Jackson.

The niners know Barlow is their guy. Hearst, while becoming the comeback player of the year twice, is now living on borrowed time. He's not the future, but San Fran is trying to get everything they can out of him and I think their offense might iimprove once it's all Barlow, all the time. I don't want to spend a lot on him because I'd rather spend the money on DLine, but we could do a lot worse at RB than Barlow.

As long as the "Old Ball Coach" is still here, I wouldn't waste any money on a running back..... it would be money down the drain.
The D Line needs the upgrade. Barlow would be great here if we had a coach who knew how to use a quality running back.

The one thing everyone is forgetting is that Barlow is a restricted free agent. Michael Turner will be a steal in the 3rd round because he's not quick and not as fast as advertized.

He drops to the thrid round - You ARE soooo right. That would be robbery. Im not too concern about his overall speed (4.55) He's quick enough to get it around the corners and he IS tough enough to take it up the middle.

We got Stephen Davis in the 4th round and look at how he turned out. I'm down.

Six of the fourteen runners who now have 1000+ yards rushing, almost half, were not drafted in the first round. Just something to think about.

I also like Barlow. He has been great and i can se him becoming a top 10 back. If we dont sign a rb we should draft Jackson or jones in the 1st or Turner or perry in the 2nd. But whatever we get its gotta be better than this years running game.
