So it sounds like the Dolphins want to keep Wannstedt. Kinda puts an end to those Spurier to Miami Dolphins trade rumors.

All he did was keep them consistent even though it was consistently mediocre.

10-6 is mediocre?

Yes it is if thats the only thing that they can rave about. Being consistent is good. But you need to take it to the next level. And I never felt he could have done it.

It's a moot point now, but if Spurrier was fired, had he not stepped down himself, the 'Phins would have considered hiring him. Are you suggesting he could have gotten the job done?

Does it say that in my post? :twak:
01-01-2004, 07:16 PM
Directly, no. But there was a good chance he would have been hired by Miami had he been fired.

And my post has any correlation to that by or how...?

Spurrier would have been their leading candidate!
Even if Wannstedt did not get the extension, Spurrier can't coach until his contract with the Redskins expires.

Okay, how do you like this you ostentatious person. No, he's not capable.

Just think of this as Dumb versus Dumber.
01-01-2004, 07:39 PM
Never mind, your a pedant! :bangdesk:
