So it sounds like the Dolphins want to keep Wannstedt. Kinda puts an end to those Spurier to Miami Dolphins trade rumors.

Yes it is if thats the only thing that they can rave about. Being consistent is good. But you need to take it to the next level. And I never felt he could have done it.

It's a moot point now, but if Spurrier was fired, had he not stepped down himself, the 'Phins would have considered hiring him. Are you suggesting he could have gotten the job done?

Spurrier would have been their leading candidate!

Even if Wannstedt did not get the extension, Spurrier can't coach until his contract with the Redskins expires.

why do they want wansteddt he is horrible. I dont care what his record is, he makes horrible decisions in games that decide the outcome of his season which is alwasy a losing one
