The redskins added nine players to their roster today, including scott cloman. Now all we need is a coaching staff.

Do other teams do this? This just seems like more evdience to me that this organization is the worst managed team ever. I've got an idea. Let's get players...a lot of them...especially ones we're not sure of...and then find a coach who may or may not want them. Oh wait...that's what we do.

I assume that most of these can be cut before the season with no impact, but honestly, unless these are impact players that another team wants (which I doubt), they can be had later or another player of the same caliber. Why can't we take care of priorities first and let the scrubs fall into place?

Enh, I don't see any reason why not to do it. Might get a good look early on at a few guys who can provide better depth.

Thinking about this... wouldn't it be great to have a D-lineman named "Killings"? Definitely a jersey worth buying.

yes, now what would be a good number for a dlineman with the name Killings?

They do this every January. They sign guys to the team to fill up roster space. The Bengals did that just last week. All teams do this this time of the year. This isnt a sign of bad things. It's just normal stuff every team does as soon as the year is over.

Hey - SkinKY - nothing like laying in wait for the front office to screw up if i didnt know better i would swear you are rooting for bad things to happen.

Yeah, sometimes we are all just a little too pessimistic.

99% of the time these signings are useless, but every now and again you find a gem. Kurt Warner, anyone?

not rooting for it, but it seems like I'm often just waiting for it. It's hard to put a positive spin when The Daniel starts taking action. I hope by all means this offseason proves me wrong in that regard. I am somewhat consoled that this is not completely out of the ordinary.

I think the signing of Mike Sellers is a good move, he's a legit FB, not some undersized finesse FB like Johnson. He's a good pass-blocker

That's my favorite part. Anything to help Ramsey stay upright is worthwhile in my mind.

Seller was confirmed in the Washington Post today. Also Scott Cloeman is going to get another shot. I was surprised he didn't make it last year.

should have made it over Russell. But in essence, it is not liek he woudl have played. Heck, Jacobs never even got a shot.

We should make better use of our deeper positions.

I highly doubt any of these guys make the final roster.

ESPECIALLY Cloman. He makes two catches in the entire preseason and some people start calling him the next David Boston and wants him thrust up the WR depth charts. If Cloman was any good, he would have been picked up by another team already.
