That's an excellent queston Skinz. I think that Gibbs will do a quick evaluation of the team, look at what can be addressed through FA market. Make a couple of move and draft according to the needs he has left. His three areas of concern that he'll need to take care of (maybe not this order) are DL, RB, TE. Of course there has been some reference to WR but I have a hard time swallowing that one BUT DB will have to be considered if Champ leaves.

Being a major player in the draft will be new to Gibbs. Remember how many number 1's Beathard traded away to gain later round picks in the current drafts?

Gibbs may employ a similar strategy or trade down.

I think that Gibbs may look skill position in the 2nd round and take a defensive lineman, provided someone goes up the board.

I'm hoping we pick up a couple free agents like Robaire Smith and Grant Winstrom so we can grab Jones in the first and pick up a DL in the second.

If you look at the Free Agent market this year, it is loaded with DLine talent. Probably 12-15 DE's, and some of them are pretty talented guys. There are also about 10-12 DT's with about four or five really quality guys there as well. I think we go DLine in the free agent market, and I would personally LOVE to see KJ in a Skins uni. Second round with the five pick MIGHT allow us to take TE Ben Troupe from FL. He is the old school type of TE that Joe would love to have. Good hands, great blocker and another big body on the Oline for the running game. IMHO.
