With the Gibbs signing you have to think it makes sense... He was the Offensive Corrdinator when his father was in San Diego.... Kellen Winslow starring as a better Clint Didder

Wouldn't be surprised. We need an impact player he or Sean Taylor are the two big ones that come to mind. I can't wait to see Joe in the war room. It's going to be great.

I don't know what we'll do but it feels good to have immense faith in your coach and the direction he'll take the team.

I couldn't agree more maybe Gibbs will let Champ walk and get Winslow and a back .....

I agree. Winslow makes since because Gibbs loves TEs. The problem is is that Winslow doesn't block well.

Either did Diddier...... Warren and Walker were the blocking TE's

Winslow is an excellent blocker. Which is one of the things that set him apart from any other TE in the draft.

I'd rather take Taylor, a back or a defensive lineman maybe look at Utecht, Ben Watson or Ben Troupe in the 3rd round.

We need Taylor or a back first. I think we will have two firsts so taylor and Winslow would be awsome. Good help for the O and the D

Gibbs would definitely be able to take on the headcase in Winslow. And so will the other coaches!

I don't want "Private Winslow" here. ..... He might get himself killed in one of those "WarGame". ....... Before Winslow is drafted, he needs to go see what REAL soldier have to go through. Let him spend a couple of weeks in Iraq.

If we're gonna go after a big, flashy name in the draft, I'd rather grab Sean Taylor or Kevin Jones than Winslow....

I completely agree. We need help on D and at RB more than at TE. While we do need a TE Utecht, Watson, and Troupe will be available later.

How can you say we need a safety more than a TE? We have no TE worth a damn and Winslow, though a meathead, is a stud. Taking Kevin Jones at #5 would be a mistake.

It would be nice to have a potentially great TE to give cowboys S Roy Williams fits for years to come

I hated his comments at times and Gibbs has said recently that what he looks for most in a player is character. That being said, if Winslow can convince Joe that he is maturing he is a warrior on the field and will give everything he has to win. Even with the talent that Miami had the last two years, Winslow took games over and was their go to guy when they were down. For those of you who do not think that a TE can turn around an offense, look at what Shockey did last year and compare that to the Giants offense this year with him out. Winslow is also a better blocker than Shockey was coming out of school.
