I think he'd be more likely to go for a defensive lineman in the first and a running back in the 2nd. Suddenly Greg Jones looks very appealing, and would slip because of his injury. It usually takes backs a full season to recover from that type of injury so the risk/reward factor for Jones could be big.

Again, depends on if we can snag a couple good DLs in free agency or not.

After the interview J.Bugle did with GM, where he states that the O-line is full of talent, I have the feeling he's thinking it's good enough to provide good "Run" blocking to the RBs we have. I don't think RB will be a priority in the draft as much as it will be in the FA market. .... We'll see. .... I just keep thinking of when Gibbs was here before, most of our feature backs were picked up as FA.

BC, Greg Jones is the real deal. I've been watching this guy for the past three years. The team that gets him in the second, if he goes that far, is going to get a steal, if not the steal of the draft. Like you mentioned it usually takes a year, to heal from this injury, but this kid is a gym rat which is what helped him get back a little early. Mind you also, that he also shared the backfield, with two former high school All-Americans, one that was touted as the best player in the country when he was a senior.

If he falls they deffinately think about him. He's like John Riggens, Ernest Byner all in one when he's healthy.

In my heart I want KJ, but Greg Jones would definitely be a beast running behind the HogsII. I would be ok with that scenario as well. I really hope we try to trade down and pick up some extra picks. The 5 spot seems a little high for the Dlinemen in the draft but they always get bumped up on draft day. I really want Ben Troupe as TE. He would be a perfect fit for Coach's offense.

I'm not a big college fan, but when the draft is all I have to look forward to I like to get caught up on the players. With that said ... who is Greg Jones? Is he the RB from Michigan?
If not, what about him in the 2nd round?

Greg Jones is the RB for Florida State. Was having a great year last year before blowing his knee out late in the season. Came back this year but wasn't 100% all season and never really got going. Chris Perry is the UMich back, I think he would be a nice pick in the 2nd or 3rd round.
