User Mock Draft

We need to get a couple of things in place now. First of all I need 1 or 2 people to help me run the thing so I guess it's whoever the others mods decide or whoever volunteers first.

Second. When? I was thinking after the combine workouts which end Febuary 23rd. By that time alot of the big name free agent's fates will be decided and the draft boards will begin to take shape.

BC, I'd be interested in doing something like this, if no one else is willing to. It sounds like a fun project. How many rounds would it be? And how thorough would you want it? Position by position, pick by pick, payer by player, need, etc...

What we do is asign teams to everyone (you'd usually get more then 1, pending of course on the number of drafters) and they get to run the draft for that team. You post your picks and me and whoever else runs it updates the board. If I'm not mistaken, comp. picks are given out before the combines so we can do a 7 rounder. The 2002 version worked out well at HQ, our 3 rounder at HQ the following season was ok and the one here fell through. Hopefully the next one will be the best one yet.

Late Febuary early March seems like the best time to do it. After the combine and after the biggest part of FA happens.
