Congrats to him. I would rather he rest that foot, but maybe the doctors are telling him that it's cool.

Heh, everyone loves to be invited to the pro bowl, yet no one ever wants to play in it. Good for him though, and I hope he stays healthy.

Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure that there is a bonus in his contract if he plays in the game, so that may be part of the motivation. The honor of stepping on the field there, which is something that he hasn't experienced, is probably a driving force in this also.

A lot of teams pressure players not to play in the Pro Bowl if they have any kind of injury. Actually, Pro Bowl attendance is much higher than it used to be. Chris Hanburger of the Redskins was voted to nine Pro Bowls and I don't think he ever went to any. That wasn't all that uncommon. That's why the NFL moved the game to Hawaii--to boost participation.

I love coles but i believe Keenan McCardell deserves it just as much or even Santana Moss.....All 3 got snubbed but at least our guy is the one bein takin.

Congrats to L.C. he deserves it.

Just reward for 80-odd catches in a sub-standard offense.

Makes you wonder what numbers he'll put up in a Gibbs' offense...

Santana can still get there, he was in the same situation as Coles as the first alternate in the AFC so if someone can't go he'll be there.

Coles should rest it but hey he deserves some recognition for this lousy season where he gave full effort.

Congrats to Laveranues on this appointment and a great season. Man, he is going to thrive under Gibbs, those sweet long play action passes.

Football does not lend itself to exposition…I am hoping for the same thing, though I kind of want him to get his “shove it” to FSU.

I agree with most here, he deserves it but should take off and rest his foot. I bet he doesn't play much

Hey I almost missed this!!!

Congratulations Coles! you absolutely deserve it. It wasn't your fault that your QB's never had time to actually throw the ball to you. Oh, what could have been this year...

Now I may have to actually watch the game...
