Maybe we shouldn't be so shocked at Joe Gibbs' decision to return to the NFL. Just one year ago, he expressed real interest in returning to the league as a head coach. In fact, he had extensive talks with Lions president Matt Millen about taking over in Detroit. At the time, the only thing that stopped him was that his wife was not on board with the idea. Over the past year, Gibbs apparently did some of his best coaching in convincing Pat Gibbs that this was the right move. …
