Welcome to hR DrunkIndianBoy7.

I'm not completely sold on taking a RB in the first round. There's normally good talent later in the draft. And with Coach Gibbs running things, I trust his decisions.

I really want Taylor with Winslow in a close second. But I do agree with DE/DT in FA. Its being reported that Snyder is set to spend what ever it takes to get us a good front 4.

Hey Drunkindianboy, what are your choices for backs in the draft? I see alot of potential in Texas and Georgia, as well Marshall has a third rounder that has excellent hands, H-back style. I concur with Carmike, the draft, or dealings therein will bring the Skins a runner but I think we need to find O-Line guys that have experience playing in a pro-set or guys that have played together long enuf to know each other. Remember the Grimm/May thing and where they played THEIR college ball?

I personally am beginning to lean toward grabbing Taylor with our first pick. Seems there is a deep class for RB and we may be able to grab one in the latter rounds.

I won't want Taylor until he shows he can stuff an HB Dive on fourth and inches.

Trade down. Get Udeze. I think I'm gonna add that to my sig.

I like Joe's strategy of trading down and selecting Udeze. I'm afraid he's going to continue to rise though and we'll have to take him at #5. Plenty of backs in round 2 I think - Perry, Cadillac, turner maybe... and then I like a TE in Round 3 (Watson?) Guess we'll see how it plays out.

I read the other day that Cadillac is returning to Auburn for his senior year. I read it in USA Today.

Don't Gibbs RB's actually not run that much?! I'm pretty sure they average abt 20 carries per game, and it's rare for 'em to get more than 300 carries in a season... I picked that up somewhere... prob CPND.

Stick with Betts I think. Rock can contribute too. If there's a steal in the 2nd or 3rd round, then by all means go for it... though I hope we get Matt Ware in the 2nd - he's gonna be a real stud, either at CB or FS.

So by taking a fs/cb in the 2nd. Who do you think we will draft in the first, kaiser?

Gibbs did not use to go for running backs as a high draft priority. He obtain them mostly as FA. I really don't see that changing. IF that does not hold true anymore, I hope he goes after M.Turner in the second round.

I say the Redskins best bet is to take a good offensive linemen such as Gallery or a good D Linemen, Harris Smith or Udeze.....take Winslow if u have to with 1st pick but i would worry about line with the first pick and take Michael Turner in teh 2nd round. If u look at all the good running backs in the leauge today...majority of them are second round picks. Beefing up the line is the way to go

Unfortunately, we have a Personnel guy that only knows how to find aged former pro-bowlers that cost an arm and a leg and turn out to be worth about a half a finger.
We NEED good young talent on the DL. Especially, a good DE e.g, Udeze.
