Dan Henning/Stephen Davis

I may be wrong but from what I understand Dan Henning is running the Gibbs offense in Carolina. Davis is Riggins.
If true we can see that this O-philosophy is still very effective and relevent. I know it is not that simple but...makes me sad and happy watching Steve(the media has never caught on that is what he prefers) Davis in the Gibbs offense.

Also I have heard Gruden runs the Gibbs offense.

Well, we revisit this issue but I am not sorry that Stephen Davis is no longer in DC. He was a great Redskin but had injury problems and was/is consistently hurt during the final push of the season. He also has questionable hands so that does not help his cause.

What we do know is that Gibbs' offense is still in effect and will work. Running the ball, protecting the quarterback and throwing the ball down the field is what Gibbs preaches and none of that has changed very much.

Max Protect is exactly that, whether 1984 or 2004.......
