Well, look who just got offered a $1,000,000 a year job by the pharmaceutical industry!!!!! Should be no suprise considering that the Republican party favors the drug companies over the welfare of the american people.
As chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Tauzin oversees the Food and Drug Administration and the pharmaceutical industry. He was one of a handful of lawmakers who hammered out an agreement on the contentious Medicare legislation.

Tauzin has long been one of the most corrupt members of Congress. You name the industry, he's in bed with it if they've got a check for him. Even by the standards of that institution, Tauzin is a whore.

There's nothing in that article that says he took the job, only that he resigned his committee post.
