So Tayor soars to #2...Udeze jumps up into the top 10 (as many of us expected) and Kevin Jones falls off the board. Very Interesting....

Little suprised at Gamble being all the way up at 12, also Philip Rivers at 8. Most people don't even have him going in the first round and Kiper has him as the 8th best player in the draft.

I knew P Rivers was going up and really don't see much of a difference between him, Eli, and Ben. AND now there's only one RB on Kiper's top 25 ....... interesting.

When looking at mock drafts this year, you have to remember that there are very few teams looking at QB in the first round...hence the reason why a Phillip Rivers won't be seen in first round mock drafts, since Eli and Ben have a stranglehold on the first few picks.

If there were more teams prepared to use their 1st rounder on a QB, Phillip Rivers would be in more mock drafts.

I understand that DJ but on most peoples boards Rivers was only listed as the 4th and sometimes 5th best QB in the draft and was getting blasted by a lot of analysts because he lacked "NFL" Technique and wouldn't be able to make it in the NFL. I'm just shocked at how one excellent Senior Bowl suddenly changes everyone's outlook on the guy.

I think he is the type of player teams will pass over, then one day come back to bite them in the butt!

the dolphins look like a team that would take rivers.

I find it interesting that there is all this movement after the senior bowl, most of these guys didn't play, lol.

Oh well, there figures to be a lot of movement, esp after the combine.

I'm still take taylor or trade down... we'll see how long that lasts.

I'm surprised to see Kevin Jones slipping like that. I think he'll run a fast 40 time (4.3) and people will be moving him up VERY quickly.

Down here is Sunny South Florida (actually its raining) The word is the Dolphins intend to make a strong play for Drew Henson. Apparently Marion is in love with him

It's hard to shuffle players around because with the exception of the few players who played in the Senior Bowl, players like Kevin Jones haven't played in almost a month. Without seeing any additional performances by the underclassmen, any movement is simply arbitrary.

To Kiper's defense, he has been quoted all year as saying Rivers is a top QB who is good enough to be taken in the first round. His performance in the Senior Bowl justified Kiper's opinion...and he probably moved him up accordingly...

If we draft Taylor, he'll surely be able to showcase his tackling and coverage skills, because we still won't be able to stop the run or rush the passer.

How is he as a down D lineman?

If we draft anyone but Udeze in the first round, I will be disappointed. They guy cut 70 pounds to play DE this past year. He was a DT previous. He's got speed and the ability to put on pounds to be effective against the run.

He should be our guy!

Robert But we could Get a Good D-linemen in free agency There R quality ones this year like warren sapp, robiero smith, jeavon kearse, and darryl gardner, we can offord to take Sean Taylor who would complete our defense if we pick up any of those d-linemen

If i'm correct, wasn't Greg Williams the defensive coordinator in Tennessee? He would have ties to Kearse in hoping to get him in Washington. What would be wild is to possibly have Kearse, Gardner, and possibly Udeze as linemen.
